chobits is a great book its about a boy named Hideki is a 20-year-old boy he's working at a dead-end-job can't find a girlfriend and to top it off he's broke If only he had a persocon - a humanoid robot his work had one but no he did not have one. they are incredibly expensive it would take him a lifetime to get one. then, one day Hideki finds a verry cute girl persocon in the trash. so he decides to take her home. As they say, one man`s trash is another man`s treasure...
